PEMBANGUNAN EKONOMI DI YOGYAKARTA TAHUN 1979-1994 DAN MITOS BURUNG KUNTUL & BLEKOK DI SLEMAN

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out the economic development in Yogyakarta in 1979-1994 which year was the Repelita Development period, namely the policy set by Soeharto. Apart from that, this is also to find out the myths of Blekok and Egret Birds in the opinion of the community and the hunting of these birds which was carried out during the Repelita Development period. The steps used for this research are through heuristics, verification of sources, historical interpretation, and historiography or writing. Economic development, also known as Repelita, has quite a clear impact on Indonesia, which is clearly different from the previous period. The economic development of Repelita, especially Repelita III, IV and V in Yogyakarta, has yielded better results than before. The hunting of Blekok and Egret birds and the myths about these birds by the local community is incorrect and no longer believed.
